November Club Cards

For November, we will do one card and one 3-D project. I think they are both really cute

The card is one that I CASEd from Split Coast Stampers. Here is the link. I didn't have the exact sentiment so I changed it up with one that I had. I love how the Pool Party color blends with the fall colors!

Cardstock - More Mustard, Cajun Craze, Pool Party, Early Espresso, Whisper White
Inks - More Mustard, Cajun Craze, Pool Party, Early Espresso
Accessories - Square Lattice Embossing Folder, Chocolate Chip Button, Linen Thread, Glue Dot, Stampin' Dimensionals

The second project is this ultra-cute box. I used a die that Melanie owns. It can be used as a gift card holder or it's perfect for candy or pack of gum. I'm thinking about doing several of these and putting them at everyone's plate at the Thanksgiving table!

August Club Cards

After being "off the air" for ten months, my blog is revived! Hopefully, I'll keep up with it better than I have! We had a fun kick off for the new year last month, so now it's time to hit the ground running.

The first card highlights the watercolor technique. I used watercolor paper and Stayz On ink to prevent the colored inks from running. I still need to practice with this technique and get better at shading. I CASEd this from SCS.

Stamp Set - Morning Cup
Cardstock - Pear Pizzaz, Rich Razzleberry, Tempting Turquoise DS (retired), Watercolor Paper
Inks - Pear Pizazz, Rich Razzleberry, Tempting Turquoise, Stayz On Black
Accessories - Rich Razzleberry Polka Dot Ribbon (retired), Linen Thread, Jewelry Tag Punch, Vintage Trinkets, Paper Piercer, Aqua Painter/Blender Pens, Stampin' Dimensionals

The second cards shows off a new technique I've learned - Faux Pearl. I think it turned out pretty good. I used Frost White Shimmer paint to achieve the "pearly" look in the flower.

Tuesday's with Morley - June Cards

For the first card, I used a cool texture die that was given to me by my Secret Sister at the last retreat (thanks, Linz!) I think for the cards for the club, I'm going to get some bigger brads. I really don't like the size of the ones in the picture.

Stamp Set - none!
Cardstock - Not Quite Navy, Kraft, Bella Bleu DS
Inks - none!
Accessories - Textured Impressions Die, Brads (non-SU!)

For the second card, I'm FINALLY using the Define Your Life stamp set. It's a cool set that has definitions of words from all the letters of the alphabet. You'll be able to choose the word/definition that suits your needs!

Tuesday's with Morley - December Cards

Here are the cards we'll be doing at our club meeting next week. I couldn't get my creative juices flowing for these, so I borrowed heavily from Split Coast Stampers. However, I think they turned out really cute!

I CASEd this card from Split Coast, but I changed the sentiment. I actually did the card using Sage Shadow paper but then realized that Mellow Moss was a better choice. I changed it out after I had taken the picture, and I was too lazy to take another one!

Recipe
Stamp Sets - Christmas Classics, Heard from the Heart
Cardstock - Mellow Moss, Always Artichoke, Whisper White
Inks - Always Artichoke, Bravo Burgundy
Accesories - 1-3/8" Square Punch, Scallop Edge Punch, Bravo Burgundy Ribbon

I also CASEd this card from Split Coast, but didn't use any ribbon.

Recipe
Stamp Sets - To You and Yours
Cardstock - Kraft, Chocolate Chip, Old Olive, Whisper White, Ski Slope DS
Ink - Chocolate Chip
Accessories - 2-Way Glue Pen, Dazzling Diamonds
