Tuesday's With Morley - February Scrapbook

I really love this month's layout! I used a design from one of Lindsey's Stamp Camps (thanx Linz!) and made a few changes.

The layout uses 6 pictures that are 4" x 4" in dimension. The trick to this layout is the middle pictures are split in half so that it spans the left and right page. The key to this type of layout is to use pictures that can naturally be split. Pictures are landscapes lend themselves to this technique quite nicely. If you want to use pictures with people, be sure to use ones where there is some sort of separation between so that you aren't cutting someone's face in half!

The title of layout can be personalized to suit your needs.

This layout requires ALOT of cutting so be sure to have sharp scissors on hand!

Tuesday's with Morley - January Cards

We'll be doing Valentines cards for the January club meeting.

The first card features items from the current Love You Much promotion. The stamp, punch, and paper are adorable! I CASEd this card from Split Coast.

The second card uses the Loads of Love stamp set. I don't use it very often - but I love it! We'll be doing the watercoloring technique with this card. It's also kind of "man-ish" so it can be used for that special guy in your life!

Here is the project for our January club meeting.

It's using the new Love You Much stamp set that is featured in the current Love You Much bundle.

I really don't have any Valentine-y pictures so my layout is filled with candid snapshots of the kiddos that I Love So Much.

I'm Baaaccckkkk !

After a month-long hiatus, I'm back in the saddle again! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season. Me and the dogs traveled to St. Louis and spent two weeks there with my parents. I had a great time. I schlepped all of my scrapbooking stuff with me because I was determined to get some work done. Unfortunately, I managed to leave behind ALL of my inks! ARGH!

I was able to, however, make some place cards for the Christmas dinner we had. They added a nice touch to the table!

I will be posting the Tuesdays with Morley projects in the next couple of days. I also hope to get back into the challenges.

Love You Much!

Hopefully, I'm getting back into the swing of things. Between Thanksgiving and work, it seems like I haven't had a lot of time to do what I love most!

Here's my take on
Kristina Werner's Color Inspiration Challenge.

I really love the colors - especially the purples and blues. They remind me of a cool winter day.

Tuesday's with Morley - December Cards

Here are the cards we'll be doing at our club meeting next week. I couldn't get my creative juices flowing for these, so I borrowed heavily from Split Coast Stampers. However, I think they turned out really cute!

I CASEd this card from Split Coast, but I changed the sentiment. I actually did the card using Sage Shadow paper but then realized that Mellow Moss was a better choice. I changed it out after I had taken the picture, and I was too lazy to take another one!

Stamp Sets - Christmas Classics, Heard from the Heart

Inks - Always Artichoke, Bravo Burgundy
Accesories - 1-3/8" Square Punch, Scallop Edge Punch, Bravo Burgundy Ribbon

I also CASEd this card from Split Coast, but didn't use any ribbon.
