December Projects

For December, we're going to be making these cute gift card holders! They are made using the Holiday Stocking Bigz L Die. I love the plaid paper that's featured in the Frostwood Lodge DS Paper.

November Club Cards

For November, we will do one card and one 3-D project. I think they are both really cute

The card is one that I CASEd from Split Coast Stampers. Here is the link. I didn't have the exact sentiment so I changed it up with one that I had. I love how the Pool Party color blends with the fall colors!

The second project is this ultra-cute box. I used a die that Melanie owns. It can be used as a gift card holder or it's perfect for candy or pack of gum. I'm thinking about doing several of these and putting them at everyone's plate at the Thanksgiving table!

I've been overwhelmed with work and travel so I have to apologize in advance for the October cards - not one of my finer moments! Oh well, I can't hit a homerun every month, can I??!!!

Don't forget that October is our order month!

August Club Cards

After being "off the air" for ten months, my blog is revived! Hopefully, I'll keep up with it better than I have! We had a fun kick off for the new year last month, so now it's time to hit the ground running.

The first card highlights the watercolor technique. I used watercolor paper and Stayz On ink to prevent the colored inks from running. I still need to practice with this technique and get better at shading. I CASEd this from SCS.

Recipe
Stamp Set - Morning Cup
Cardstock - Pear Pizzaz, Rich Razzleberry, Tempting Turquoise DS (retired), Watercolor Paper
Inks - Pear Pizazz, Rich Razzleberry, Tempting Turquoise, Stayz On Black
Accessories - Rich Razzleberry Polka Dot Ribbon (retired), Linen Thread, Jewelry Tag Punch, Vintage Trinkets, Paper Piercer, Aqua Painter/Blender Pens, Stampin' Dimensionals

The second cards shows off a new technique I've learned - Faux Pearl. I think it turned out pretty good. I used Frost White Shimmer paint to achieve the "pearly" look in the flower.

Cardstock - Calypso Coral, Wisteria Wonder, Lucky Limeade, Early Espresso, Berry Blossoms DS Paper, Whisper White
Inks - Calypso Coral, Wisteria Wonder, Lucky Limeade
Accessories - Scallop Trim Border Punch, Fun Flowers Bigz L Die, Bird w/Leaves and Flowers Die (retired), Frost White Shimmer Paint, Sponge/Sponge Dauber, Stampin' Dimensionals

Tuesday's With Morley - October Scrapbook

Fall is definitely in the air! I love the crisp mornings we've having lately.

For the October scrapbook, we'll do a Halloween layout. I used a new item to SU! - the Big Shot Mulitpurpose Adhesive Sheets. This is a great way to add adhesive to an element. You apply the base material (cardstock) to the adhesive sheet, run it through the Big Shot, and then peel off the remaining backing! It's especially good for items that are delicate in nature and hard to apply regular adhesive.

I also used some old DS paper - Ghostly Greetings - from a couple of years ago. It felt good to be able to use up some of my stock of paper!

Recipe
Cardstock - Basic Black, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, Going Grey, Ghostly Greeting DS (retired)
Accessories - Bitty Bat Punch, Spider Web Embossing Folder, Alphabet Simple Letters Die, Stampin' Dimensionals
