Here's my card for this week's SCS Color Challenge. I know I'm casing this from somebody. I think it's my upline, Lindsey! She's way more creative than I am. The gray parts of the chef's outfit are raised with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Recipe: Stamp Set: Voila Cardstock: Yo-Yo Yellow, Going Gray, Light Gray (non-SU), Whisper White Ink: Going Gray Accessories: Black Brads, Photo Corner Punch, Maize Ribbon, Black and White Gingham Ribbon, Stampin' Dimensionals
I combined the color and sketch challenges for this week from Split Coast Stampers. I really like the "Birthday Whimsy" stamp set from the Sale-a-bration catalog. To my club members - this stamp set will be featured at our February meeting !!
I thought the card was a little plain so I tried to dress it up a little by using iridescent embossing over the gifts. Unfortunately, the camera didn't pick that up very well!
Recipe: Stamp Sets: Birthday Whimsy, Baroque Motifs Cardstock: Real Red, Blue Bayou, Soft Sky, Whisper White Ink: Blue Bayou, Versamark Markers: Real Red Accessories: Iridescent Embossing Powder
It's been over a month since my last post. Now that the holidays are over and a new year has begun, one of my resolutions is post more frequently to the blog! Let's hope I can stick to this resolution!
