I combined the color and sketch challenges for this week. The color challenge was to use Blue Ballet, Apricot Appeal, and Real Red (I really liked this color combination!). I stamped the flower and butterfly on the blue cardstock using blue ink the camera didn't pick it up very well.Sketch Challenge:

Here's my card for this week's SCS Color Challenge. I know I'm casing this from somebody. I think it's my upline, Lindsey! She's way more creative than I am. The gray parts of the chef's outfit are raised with Stampin' Dimensionals.

I combined the color and sketch challenges for this week from Split Coast Stampers. I really like the "Birthday Whimsy" stamp set from the Sale-a-bration catalog. To my club members - this stamp set will be featured at our February meeting !!I thought the card was a little plain so I tried to dress it up a little by using iridescent embossing over the gifts. Unfortunately, the camera didn't pick that up very well!

It's been over a month since my last post. Now that the holidays are over and a new year has begun, one of my resolutions is post more frequently to the blog! Let's hope I can stick to this resolution!
Here's little break from card making. I put together these recipe cards with a Southern Living trivet as a Christmas present for my hair dresser. Fast, cute, and inexpensive !
