Shaker Card

It's been quite a while since I've posted. I've been overwhelmed at work, and I was out of town last weekend. Things should calm down in a couple of weeks (hopefully!)

I was able to practice a couple of techniques on this card. First, it's a shaker card so that was fun putting it together. Second, I used the aqua painter and watercolored the turtle.

Cardstock: Always Artichoke, Groovy Guava, Darling Doodles DP

Irish Feast

Every St. Patrick's Day, my parents treat friends and family to an outstanding feast of corned beef & cabbage. It has become a time-honored tradition that honors the Irish heritage of my grandparents who immigrated to the U.S. in the 1930's

Stamp Club Projects for August

For the August club meeting, we will be using the Baroque Motifs stamp set. I will provide the materials for either two cards or one scrapbook page. If you wish to do multiple projects (or more than one scrapbook page), there will be a nominal fee to cover the cost of materials. Please let me know by August 10 which project(s) you would like to do.

Card #1

I love Chocolate Chip! This card incorporates one of the new in-colors - Groovy Guava - with the Chocolate Chip colors.

Card #2

This card uses Purely Pomegranate and River Rock. It's a design that I "borrowed" from Lindsey Blackhurst.

Scrapbook

The theme of this scrapbook page is "All About ...". It enables the scrapper to use not only pictures but other items that define the subject of the page. In this example, I used pictures of my nieces and nephews, parts of sudoku puzzles, and Sonic to help define me (I'm addicted to Sonic cokes!)

Welcome to the World of Blogging!

How exciting! My very first post to my very first blog. I'm new to all of this so everyone will need to be patient!
