For the past couple of months, I've had a really hard time getting my creative juices flowing. I've been putting in alot of hours at work so when I get home I'm just too tired to be creative. However, I attended Lindsey and Leah's retreat this weekend, and I've come back a new woman! I love going to these retreats. It's a wonderful time to get away and concentrate on one thing - being creative! What a treat to be able to spend two days with a group of wonderful women. The fun and fellowship is second to none - plus these girls are super talented. I've got a lot of ideas popping out of my head. I've already got one of the cards designed for the April meeting of Tuesday's with Morley!
In the coming days, I'll be posting some of the layouts that I completed while at retreat. Be sure to check back soon!

Tuesdays with Morley - March Cards
We'll be doing Easter cards this month. I also got to try out my new Big Shot! This is one accessory that's going to get quite a work out.
This first card uses a couple of the new embosslit dies. It not only does the "normal" die cut, but it embosses at the same time! The Tea Party DS paper is really cute too.

Ugh! I really need to get better about keeping up with my blog. It seems like time is just running by so fast, though!

Tuesday's With Morley - February Scrapbook
I really love this month's layout! I used a design from one of Lindsey's Stamp Camps (thanx Linz!) and made a few changes.

The layout uses 6 pictures that are 4" x 4" in dimension. The trick to this layout is the middle pictures are split in half so that it spans the left and right page. The key to this type of layout is to use pictures that can naturally be split. Pictures are landscapes lend themselves to this technique quite nicely. If you want to use pictures with people, be sure to use ones where there is some sort of separation between so that you aren't cutting someone's face in half!

The title of layout can be personalized to suit your needs.
This layout requires ALOT of cutting so be sure to have sharp scissors on hand!

Recipe:
Stamp Sets - Petal Pizzazz, Little Flowers, Big Deal Alphabet (or any alphabet of your choice)
Cardstock - Bashful Blue, Riding Hood Red, So Saffron, Pumpkin Pie, Washington Apple DS, Whisper White
Inks - Bashful Blue, Riding Hood Red, So Saffron, Pumpkin Pie
Accessories - Corner Rounder, Stampin' Dimensionals

Tuesday's with Morley - January Cards
